The ELLA Program

drawing-scout boy-grooming-scoutELLA, Equine Life Lessons and Artwork combines equine art and experience. While “hanging out with the horses at my ranch, Thunder Heart Haven,” kids can participate in their care, learn to ride if they so desire, and paint and draw the horses in a “plein air” natural environment. It’s an “up close and personal” experience with these gentle animals. Many children simply enjoy being in the equine presence.

Horses are intelligent animals that can form strong bonds with humans. They can be soothing, comfortable companions. And they have lots to say to us—if we would just listen.

ELLA is under the umbrella of Weehawken Creative Arts, a non-profit organization (501 c3) registered under the statues of the State of Colorado. If what I am doing touches your heart, please donate to ELLA. Make your tax-deductible check out to Weehawken, earmark it for the ELLA program, and mail it to WCA, PO Box 734, Ridgway, CO 81432.

Your donations help support the rescue program and senior horse sanctuary.

Thank you for your support!
